Blue Screen #9: Eponine Momenceau

Blue Screen # 9 Éponine Momenceau (15.11.2023)

Invited by our previous artist in focus Caroline Corbasson, this edition of Blue Screen focussed on the work of Éponine Momenceau (@eponinemomenceau ). Éponine Momenceau is both a visual artist working with film, as well as a cinematographer. She skilfully brings together her technical expertise in the field of cinematography, while also challenging and diverting this knowledge in order to create images that are simultaneously experimental and contemplative. During the evening we shone a light on three of her films and dove deeper into her versitile practice.

For Blue Screen # 9 we selected films by Giselle Beiguelman, Scott Fitzpatrick and Benjamin Verhoeven to be viewed in dialogue to the work of Éponine Momenceau.
