Blue Screen #13: Lucile Desamory

On invitation by Sammy Baloji we welcomed Lucile Desamory as our 13th artist in focus. Lucile Desamory is a Berlin-based artist, filmmaker, musician, and actor. Working across a diverse range of media, including film, video, installation, performance and visual art, Desamory brings overlooked narratives into focus, exploring phenomena in transition and creating works that blur the lines between fact and fiction, science and speculation.

In dialogue with the films by Lucile Desamory, we showed a selection of short films by Gwendolyn Lootens, Katy Dove, Shelly Silver and Erin Weisgerber.

After the screening program, Lucile Desamory gave a performative insight into her most recent feature film, followed by a Q&A with the audience.
