Jannis Marwitz studied at Hochschule für Bildende Künste, Hamburg and Städelschule, Frankfurt before undertaking a two year residency at De Ateliers, Amsterdam. Recent exhibitions include La réforme de Pooky, Fri Art Kunsthalle Fribourg, Onions, Damien and the Love Guru, Brussels, The Raid, Galerie Barbara Weiss, Berlin, Sweet Lies, Ludwig Forum, Aachen and Kündigung, Lucas Hirsch, Düsseldorf.
