Elien Ronse
Hi, I’m Elien (she/her), I grew up in a small Belgian village dreaming about becoming a painter one day. Nowadays I live in Brussels, often moving homes because of financial reasons, making video-work and organizing artistic interventions, spending lots of time with friends and dreaming about becoming a good social worker.
I often work collectively and I am or was part of the open studio Manoeuvre, reading club Other Women’s Flowers, high-way residency Cultural Center Truck Stop and the collective Para-instituut voor KUNST en precariteit.
I hold an MA in Arts from Dutch Art Institute, a degree in Social Work and I graduated together with Manoeuvre from the Advanced Masters in Sint Lucas Antwerp.
