Diego Thielemans is engaged in a practice of moving images and collage. Collecting and organising materials is at the heart of these practices. The resulting forms are diverse: printed posters, paintings, videos and sculptural furniture. His current interests include the representation of the naked human in massively printed images, the search for comfortable clothes, the waste of time rationalised into laziness, and botanical books. In addition to his personal practices, Diego Thielemans founded MULTIPLEXE with Benjamin De Backer, a collective sculpture in permanent evolution and a curatorial project.
