The members of Peliskan met in film labs – and united to perform the magic of transferring celluloid to digital. In an interview with Jérôme Zahno, part of the collective, we talk about the machine that makes this possible, the technological shift connected to it and the pros and cons of the different media, about history, private archives and the fascination of film not just as a means but as a material.
