Lucie Burton was born in Brussels in 1988. She is a former choreographer. She graduated in 2007 in Codarts (Rotterdam). After her dance studies, she became very much interested in pedagogy. She graduated with a pedagogical degree in Brussels and specialized in art education for toddlers in 2014. Her interest in dance shifted to visual art and she started collaborating with museums and cultural centers to build up art education programs. She is an active member of Patrimoine à Roulettes, a belgian company working around heritage (www.patrimoinearoulettes.org). Currently, she collaborates with Wiels, Maison des Arts, Archipel 19, Central for Contemporary art, Musée d’Ixelles, Chapelle de Boondael and Maison des Cultures et de la Cohésion sociale de Molenbeek.
Aside from her teaching and guiding activities, she develops a personal practice in etching.
